Will I be able to contact the doctor after surgery?
Our professional post-operative care team will assist you and a coordinator will be assigned to you. You can ask any questions you may have and receive the support you need.
Who should I contact if I have any questions after returning to my country?
Your coordinator will answer your questions and continue to follow your recovery process with you.
Are the antibiotics and painkillers I need after surgery provided by the clinic?
The medications you need after discharge will be provided together with detailed instructions explaining how they should be used.
Can I bring a companion with me?
One person may accompany you as a companion throughout your surgical stay.
How long should I avoid sitting or lying on my buttocks after BBL surgery?
We recommend using a BBL pillow while sitting and sleeping only on your stomach for a minimum of four weeks.
How many massage sessions should I have after liposuction?
A minimum of 15–20 massage sessions is recommended, generally at a frequency of two or three sessions per week.
How long should I wear a compression garment after liposuction?
It is recommended to wear a compression garment for a minimum of 6–8 weeks following the procedure.
Which airport should I fly to in Istanbul?
We provide airport transfer services from both airports. You can book your flight to either Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.
Where will I continue my recovery after being discharged from the hospital?
You will stay at one of our contracted residence-style accommodation options close to the hospital, including 5-star hotels, Radisson Residence TEM Istanbul Europe or Mövenpick Living Çamlıvadi.
Will I be visited during my stay at the hotel?
During your stay at one of our contracted hotels, our nurse will visit you once a day.
Which languages are spoken?
English, French, Arabic and Russian are spoken.
Can I combine my surgery with another procedure?
Yes. Depending on the type of procedures you are considering, it may be possible to combine certain surgeries.
Do you provide any supplies for post-operative care?
Depending on the type of surgery you undergo, items such as a compression garment, surgical bra, white foam, waist trainer, abdominal board, Shewee, adult diapers, drainage bag, bathrobe and underpads may be provided.
What should I bring with me?
We recommend bringing loose and long clothing that you feel comfortable in, intimate wipes, slippers and socks.
How much of the injected fat survives after BBL surgery?
Although this varies from patient to patient, approximately 50% of the injected fat is expected to survive.
